Tonight was topped off with two delicious Martinis while reading Everyday Drinking, by Kingsley Amis.  3 oz. Beefeater Gin ¼ oz. Martini & Rossi Bianco Vermouth Stirred in a chilled glass with lots of ice until it was very cold and served in a chilled coupe with a lemon twist for garnish.  This is definitely something I would like to cap off every evening with, liver and wallet permitting.
